While ChIME’s student and alumni community is a tightly-knit network of teaching, learning, sharing and growing, ChIME extends a warm and generous welcome to the wider community during public workshops, open houses, and student led Worship Services.

 
 

Interfaith is a way of life that allows each person to express the Divine in his/her own way. As an avenue of seeing and seeking the endless possibilities of Divine Expression, Interfaith study and practice not only celebrates our connection with the Divine, it also enhances our lives and relationships. Throughout the academic year, ChIME opens its doors, inviting in the wider community, for a variety of events. Whether you want to deepen your own relationship with the divine, develop an informed understanding of what interfaith studies entails, or simply want to get to know what ChIME is about, you are invited to participate in the following ways:

Open Houses

During monthly Open Houses from January-July, a ChIME grad will offer a short teaching, practice, or avenue of study that was informed by their time at ChIME. After the alumni presentation, attendees have an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the Interfaith Ministry program.

Interfaith Gatherings

Co-created and co-led by students on the third Sunday of each month from October-May, gatherings can include a variety of elements including music, poetry, readings, reflections, meditation, and community ritual. You can watch recordings of past services and ceremonies here.
