The morning session introduces Jewish spiritual practices from the personal perspective of Joel and his life-long spiritual journey.  Learn how he incorporates teachings, ritual, and spiritual practices into his life as an Interfaith minister, including the Jewish practices around celebration, grief, death and dying.

For the afternoon session, Rabbi Carolyn Braun invites participants to her Temple Beth El in Portland for an overview of the Jewish faith and its practices. The Temple is within walking distance of the Center for Grieving Children and we will gather at the Temple after lunch.
