The morning session introduces Jewish spiritual practices from Joel’s personal perspective and his life-long spiritual journey. Learn how he endeavors to bring meaning to traditional Jewish liturgy in his daily prayer life. He hopes that his sharing provides a means for reflecting on attendee’s own spiritual practices.
For the afternoon session, Rabbi Carolyn Braun invites participants to her Temple Beth El in Portland for an overview of the Jewish faith and its practices. The Temple is within walking distance of the Center for Grieving Children and we will gather at the Temple after lunch.
