Interfaith Ministry Program:

Tuition & Admissions

The academic year begins once annually in September.

Applications are reviewed as they are received and offers of admission are extended on an ongoing basis to qualified candidates. Spaces are limited and we will begin a waiting list when cohorts fill. Apply early to ensure consideration for the upcoming academic year.

The tuition for the two-year program is $13,000 ($6500 per year) for students entering the 2024-2025 academic year. Payment plans are available. There is limited scholarship money available, with priority given to returning students with expressed financial need. Books and related expenses are estimated at $200-$400/year. All other expenses are covered, however, students are responsible for their own lodging and transportation expenses (if any) for in-person monthly workshops.

The program requires master’s level reading, writing, and reflection, but we will consider relevant life or academic experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree. ChIME welcomes students of any vocational and educational background to apply, provided they have the capacity to do the required work and the desire to be of service in the Interfaith tradition.

“The friend who can be silent WITH US in a moment of despair or confusion, who can STAY with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not healing, not curing, that is a friend who cares”

-Henri Nouwen

Along with the application, we ask for two letters of reference and an application fee of $50. Once we have received all of your application materials, ChIME staff will contact you for the first of two interviews.

Enrollment is now complete for the 2024-25 academic year. Apply after January 1, 2025 to be considered for entry in the cohorts beginning in September 2025.
