Beltane: Sacred Fires and Fertile Ground

Beltane marks the beginning of summer and is celebrated with rituals performed to protect livestock and encourage growth for the upcoming harvest. Beltane is also known as “May Day,” typically celebrated on May 1st. Led by ChIME students Gabe Burford, Amy Dunckelmann, and Annick McIntosh, this service will share some of the traditions, blessings and music from the Beltane tradition.
