Whether the goal is personal or professional, communicating with coworkers or loved ones, conflict often gets in the way. Most of us see conflict as negative, a perception that has a profound impact on how we manage it as individuals and organizations. The Aiki approach presents new ways to deal with conflict, direct its energy, and integrate skills and practices experientially.
This half-day, interactive program with Judy Ringer acknowledges conflict and communication skills as core human competencies, and uses principles and techniques from Aikido, the Japanese art of reconciliation, to foster learning through alternative pathways.
Participants will discover how to use daily interpersonal challenges to increase awareness of habitual reactions to conflict, replace them with more purposeful ones, communicate clearly, and strengthen relationships.
Fee: $45
